What is an affiliate link?

Some of the links on this site are affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link and sign up for a product, we may receive a commission from the partner at no extra cost to you. Affiliate commissions help fund our reviews and the operation of this site.

How we mark affiliate links

Every affiliate link on this site is tagged with rel="sponsored noopener", opens in a new tab, and shows a visible Affiliate label. We also show a "Contains affiliate links" banner at the top of every page, in line with the UK ASA / CAP Code on advertising.

Our editorial promise

• We do not rank by commission. Our rankings are based on HMRC MTD recognition, features, ease of use, and value for money.
• We only review HMRC-recognised software. If a product is not on the official gov.uk MTD ITSA list, we will not recommend it for MTD Income Tax compliance.
• No fabricated testimonials. We do not invent user quotes. Where we use a reviewer, they are a real person who has used the software.
• We clearly disclose affiliate relationships. Every page shows the disclosure banner; every product page links back to this page.

Partner programmes we participate in
